The Life of Oskar Schindler
Oskar Schindler was born on April 28, 1908 in Zwittau, Czechoslovakia. Schindler's father's name was Hans, who was a farm equipment manager, and his mother's name was Louisa, who was a homemaker. Oskar and his sister Elfriede attended a German language scholl where Oskar wasn't the best student.

Schindler left school in 1924 and started to take many odd jobs. He met and married Emilie Pelzel in 1928. He then worked in his father's company until the 1930's. Oskar then became a buisnessman and owned a factory named Deutsche Emaillewaren- Fabrik. The factory started off with 45 employess and later grew to more than 1700 during 1944.

He was a Nazi buisnessman who killed many people but finally realized that what Hitler was wrong and eventually, Schindler stood up to him and saved over 1200 lives. Schindler passed away on October 9, 1974 but he is still remembered as a great hero who took a stand to Hitler's opinion and saved many lives.
